Judaipur…definitely one of our favorites. I can’t say exactly why it got on the fav list, maybe because it was on the smaller side, maybe because the Maharaja and his family are very involved with the people hence there is even more pride exuded from the people…I don’t know…it just had that feeling. The palace, which is what most of the pictures below are about, is in an amazing shape, another testament to the involvement of the Maharaja and his family. There are a couple of pictures where a woman in a sari is looking out through a window…the kind women used to lookout through…see but not be seen. I also got some great smelling spices from Ali, who assured me that people ask him to send them spices all the way from France.
