Part II

think of us this way

you are the dancer
life is your steps
we are the dance

you are the artist
life is your canvass
we are the painting

you are the actor
life is your story
we are the play

you are the singer
life is your words
we are the song

internally where I reside
time and space do not exist

here    I am fusion a universal womb
and a devouring mother

externally where I also exist
life is linear filled with time and space

here   I am universal separation
disconnection and the patriarchal father

yet when you live in a conscious state
somewhere between and within connection and separation
a lotus of understanding slowly unfolds
and wondrous depth enters your soul

living in an awakened state enables you to transcend fixed realities
and develop a mind unique to your being

here
no longer blinded narrow or caught in a one sided view
you will not be compelled to choose between one form or another
your life like a two edged sword will be the platform from which you may dance
the passionate dance of the living

somewhere in the between of
fusion and isolation
good and bad right and wrong
this dance will enable you to choose a life as a free human being

would you not want life as a free human being?

a life not filled with shoulds   should-nots   and self righteousness
but one which supports you living your truth   free of fearful constraints

a life not devoid of your personal ethics
but one filled with the freedom to consciously embrace all that you are

a life not repressed or slothful
but one filled with passion laughter and innate knowledge of your inherent value

a life not filled with emptiness
but one charged with compassion towards all life

a life not trouble free
but one which passionately challenges its obstacles
while creatively embracing the human condition

the freedom I talk about is not a means to irresponsibility
but one of being respond-able
that is
able and capable to respond to life’s challenges
within the boundaries of both love and fear

meaning that
when one is respond-able
the energies of inclusion and exclusion move within them synchronously

to be a free and awakened human being
means to be free of the constraints of absolute reality
it means not running away from
but
embracing that which you are and transcending beyond

when you are free
you cannot help but live in accordance with life’s chaotic order
recognizing that like everything else in and on this wondrous place
you too are part of life and its cycles
you grasp the inter-linkage thus the interdependence of all life
what we do to others we unto ourselves

when you are free
you love
for love is what you are

the love I talk about
is not that personal feeling you have towards a loved one
although that is part of it
nor is it the lustful feeling you feel towards a new lover
although it too may be an aspect of it
the love I talk about
is the all encompassing feeling you have when you feel compassion toward another
the discernment you feel when you know where you end and the other begins
the reverence you feel when your being at last sees all life’s interconnection
the sense of wonder and awe you feel upon seeing a new born babe
or the tenderness you feel when you look at a loved pet
this is not selfish love it does not ask for anything
it has no hidden motives it is neither good nor bad
it simply is
the glue of life
